At bedtime at ours, Coco had a routine that would drive me mad. She would come up to bed, wait until I’d settle down and turn off the light then she would get back off the bed and bark to go downstairs. Only to appear back at the bottom of the stairs 5 minutes later to come back up! This would often be repeated a few times. Sometimes she wanted a drink...sometimes I had no idea what she wanted, she seemed to be just checking things out downstairs or perhaps I’d been irritating that day and needed putting in my place! She would always jump up from the left-hand side and she liked to cuddle close; she would always be pressed against me or laid with her paws and head on my feet. I desperately miss that warm weight.
